Bandicoot Room
Ages 4 years – Up to 5 years
At the Cygnet Community Children's Centre, our Bandicoot Room supports children in building confidence, independence, and self-sufficiency as they prepare for their next stage. Children are encouraged to take more ownership of their day, develop stronger peer relationships, and feel capable within a group environment.
Our educators create a supportive space where children are encouraged to problem-solve, collaborate, and express their ideas. Through play, routines, and group experiences, children build resilience, confidence, and the skills to navigate new environments with ease.
If it is your child’s first day with us, our educators will spend time getting to know you and your child. We will complete a personal profile including your child’s routine, interests, strengths, and any additional information to support their transition into our program.
