Cost: Free! The Cygnet Community Children's Centre is hosting this event to support the parents and caregivers within our community.
Lisa will be discussing with us the concept of Navigating Friendships between children, and offer us some insights and strategies around how to support our children with creating long lasting, successful relationships with their peers.
In this workshop we'll gain a deeper understanding and develop a toolbox of practical strategies to support children to navigate friendships, difficult behaviour and more.
Lisa will dive into the following topics throughout the evening:
developmental trends in friendships
mean behaviour and bullying
helping your child to be more confident navigating friendship challenges
problem solving and assertiveness
the role of empathy development, perspective taking & much more.
